Our Story
Having as a basis to promote activities to support our paisanos living and working in the United States contribute and supporting the effort of the Mexican government that seeks to protect the human rights of our migrant workers the “Instituto para el Desarrollo Económico y Social Sinaloenses Unidos” in May 2019, with the participation of the Fraternidad Sinaloenses de California, a binational meeting was held in the City of Mexicali, Baja California, to form the Red Binacional Sinaloense.
Thus, in October 2023, the Red Binacional Sinaloense is incorporated in the State of California, organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Act for Public, Educational and Charitable Purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our Mission
With the mission to be the link between the Sinaloan migrant community and other states of Mexico in order to enhance the dignity, quality of life and respect for their rights as migrants in the United States.
Having as its purpose to support the immigrant community of the State of Sinaloa, Mexico and other entities of the Mexican Republic in the United States, in the assistance about their rights, promotion of culture, heritage and community outreach programs in areas such as legal support, protection of human rights, education and mental health, among others.
In the context of these general purposes, this will be accomplished through, but not limited to, outreach, education, advocacy and grants. Committees will be created to carry out the activities and work plan of the Red Binacional Sinaloense.
